I love Halloween! Costumes are my favorite things ever, I even try and find excuses to wear costumes out of Halloween season (I dressed up as Luna Lovegood for the last HP movie premiere and love wearing costume pieces a lot) Today at work I dressed as my own version of the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. I based my look off of a tutorial done by MacBarbie07 on Youtube.
Here is her video:
With the exception of the bow top that I bought a few days ago, all of these items I found in my closet :)
Bow top: Forever 21
Vest: Forever 21 (from two or three years ago)
Scarf: My grandmother's :)
Necklaces: Pocketwatch necklace from Etsy, and the key necklace I made with supplies from Michaels
I didn't want to make the huge hat like she did, but I did find this cute little hat headband at Michael's :)
And I just HAVE to show you my shoes! These are Steve Madden sequin-toed shoes I got from DSW in the sale section for 13 bucks! (I died haha)
And of course I had to have an accompanying nail look for this costume!
Polishes used: China Glaze Bahamian Escape
Sally Hansen White On
China Glaze Liquid Leather
China Glaze Mediterranean Charm
To make the designs I used a small art brush and did dots for the club, and two large red dots for the heart and connected the bottom :)
Happy Halloween everyone! Be safe!
I will be posting another look for my Halloween night costume: Ramona Flowers from Scott Pilgrim :)
Thanks!
